Maintain your nonwood/Artificial Wood

To keep your nonwood and artificial wood outdoor furniture in good condition and able to withstand changing weather conditions, it's important to clean and care for them at least once a year. micare recommends doing this in both spring and fall. All you need is micare cleaning soap and micare conditioner. By using micare products, you protect your outdoor furniture from moisture, dirt, and especially the sun's UV rays, which can be particularly harsh on darker colors. Regular care reduces the risk of fading, prolongs the lifespan of your furniture, and preserves its beautiful appearance. Invest in the best care for your outdoor furniture and enjoy its lasting beauty and durability.

How we recommend you clean and maintain your Nonwood/Artificial Wood:

Before you start, make sure you have the following ready:

micare cleaning soap, micare balm, lukewarm water, a medium-hard scrubbing brush, a microfiber cloth, optionally, a dry cloth for wiping.

  • Start by removing dust, sand, and any hair with a soft cloth or a soft brush.

  • Moisten the provided Oeko-Tex certified sponge and apply the cleaning soap. Massage the soap in circular motions to ensure all dirt is loosened. You can use a medium-hard scrubbing brush to get into the crevices of the artificial wood. Rinse the sponge or brush with clean water as needed and continue cleaning until all dirt is gone.

  • Rinse thoroughly with clean water to ensure no soap residue or dirt remains. This prevents streaks on the surface.

  • Let the item dry completely before applying micare conditioner.

  • Dip the provided sponge into the micare conditioner and wipe off any excess balm on the edge of the container. Apply an ultra-thin layer of balm to the surface, massaging it in circular motions.

  • Polish glossy surfaces with a dry, lint-free cloth to remove any remaining balm.

  • The furniture is now ready for immediate use.
