Polyrattan garden furniture, also known as PE rattan, is highly sought after for its elegant appearance. Polyrattan combines the natural look of rattan with easy maintenance. However, prolonged exposure to UV rays, strong chemicals, aggressive cleaning products, harsh cleaning tools and severe frost can affect the material’s flexibility and durability. Excessive moisture can lead to mould or rot. micare cleaning soap cleans gently and, thanks to its high fat content, leaves an invisible protective film. micare cleaning soap is all you need to clean and care for polyrattan effectively, while being gentle on the furniture, the environment and your skin.

How we recommend cleaning and maintaining your polyrattan garden furniture:

Before you start, have the following ready:

micare cleaning soap – lukewarm water – a medium-stiff scrubbing brush – a microfibre cloth – a cloth for drying.

• Remove dust and sand from the surface with a soft cloth or soft brush (alternatively, rinse the furniture with a garden hose).
• Dampen the furniture and apply micare cleaning soap over the entire front and back.
• Massage the soap in using circular movements to loosen all dirt. Leave the cleaning soap to work for about 10 minutes to loosen algae and other deposits.
• Scrub with a medium-stiff scrubbing brush.
• Rinse the brush or cloth in clean water as needed and continue cleaning until all dirt is removed.
• Finish by rinsing off dirt and soap residue.

Now enjoy your beautiful polyrattan furniture today and for many years to come.
