Who are we?

micare is a 100% Danish-owned company that has been working with care products since 2003. The idea to start micare came from a desire to bring together the best care products on one single platform – and to create a sense of trust and guidance for consumers, especially because the market is flooded with so many different products that are difficult to navigate. Behind the micare concept are Connie and Klaus Mikkelsen, who live in the beautiful town of Silkeborg. We are passionate about nature and natural products – and we love bringing new life to worn and tired items.

With our extensive experience in the field, we will continue to explore and test products, gathering only the very best here on our website.

The recipe for micare balm and soaps dates back more than 38 years. The formulas have remained unchanged. All our soaps are made from raw soap and water. Every ingredient is 100% pure and natural and highly concentrated. The products are carefully blended according to the original recipe, handmade, and individually packaged. We’re proud that our products are so versatile in their use.

micare has also introduced another care product: micare cleansing soap, made from raw soap and demineralized water. This product is specially developed for the care of wood and leather, as regular tap water contains minerals and lime that can leave stains over time. Our mission has always been to create a product range THAT WORKS – and sustainability is high on our list of priorities. We sell to both private individuals and businesses. You’ll find us on social media, online, in shops, at trade fairs, exhibitions, markets, shopping centers, and more.

INDOOR/OUTDOOR STONE If your stone table has become dull and dreary, clean it with cleansing soap, let it dry completely, and then apply balm. You will be surprised. • If your aluminum front door has become dull from sunlight, you can bring out the color with micare multi surface conditioner. 

LEATHER SOFA

Under normal conditions (temperature/sunlight, etc.), a leather sofa will benefit from treatment three times a year.

If the sofa is close to a window where it receives plenty of direct sunlight, it may need one or two additional treatments.

If the sofa is dirty, clean it with cleansing soap first. When it is completely dry (at room temperature of 20-22 degrees Celsius, approximately 24 hours after cleaning), you can start applying the conditioner.

If the leather is tanned with chromic substances, the method used for years, it is not necessary to apply balm afterward. Instead, you can exclusively use micare care soap four times a year for optimal protection.
