Detailed Product Description
Contains 2 × 500 ml of soap flakes. Soap flakes are ideal for cleaning and soap-treating wood and tile floors. The flakes have been used for generations as a traditional Danish cleaning method and are particularly known for preserving the natural beauty of wood for years. Soap flakes can be used to clean wooden floors, leaving them clean and well-maintained. They are also excellent for soap-treating lye-treated floors and wooden furniture, giving them a protective and attractive patina. Soap flakes are suitable for cleaning various surfaces, including untreated and varnished wood, tile and stone floors, as well as terrazzo and linoleum. Our soap flakes are manufactured in Denmark according to a traditional, old Danish recipe. The white quality has the right flake size and a fat content of 80%. This ensures reliable product quality. The flakes are made from palm oil and coconut oil. They contain no perfume, preservatives, or optical brighteners. Good quality is recognized as follows: If the flakes dissolve in boiled (cooled to lukewarm) water and the water turns gray, the quality is poor and can cause the wood to turn gray. We recommend treating your wooden floors, etc., with soap: Before you begin, have the following ready: 10-liter floor bucket, floor cloth, micare soap flakes, floor scrubber, scouring pads, grit 180 (for stubborn stains). Dissolve 20 grams of soap per 1 liter of lukewarm water. (We recommend cooling boiled water to lukewarm before adding the soap flakes). Thoroughly clean the floor with the lukewarm soap solution – clean in the direction of the wood grain. Rinse with a wrung-out, clean cloth and cold, clean water. (This removes excess soap residue and prevents the fat in the soap from dissolving). The floor is walkable when completely dry. We recommend treating your natural stone and tile floors with soap: Before you begin, have the following ready: 10-liter floor bucket, cotton floor cloth, micare soap flakes, floor scrubber, optional: scrubber for stubborn dirt in joints. Dissolve the flakes in boiled water that has cooled to lukewarm. Use 10 g of soap flakes per 1 liter of water (about 1/4 cup). Whisk the flakes thoroughly until dissolved. Place the cotton cloth in the soap solution and then wash with it. (Change the water as needed). Allow the floor to dry completely before walking on it. Soap flakes are good for cleaning tile floors for several reasons: they are mild and contain no harsh chemicals, making them gentle on tile surfaces. They clean effectively without damaging the surface or affecting its natural shine. Soap flakes, made from natural fats, can be more environmentally friendly than many commercially available cleaning products. This makes them a good choice for anyone who wants to avoid synthetic chemicals. When soap flakes are dissolved and used to clean tile floors, they leave a light soap film on the surface. This film can help protect the floor from dirt and stains by making it harder for dirt to adhere to the surface. Finally, soap flakes can also be used for cleaning and maintaining the grout between tiles. The mild soap residue can help keep the grout free of dirt and debris, as well as keeping it moist and preventing it from drying out.

Important tips:
Use on stone surfaces: Make sure to whisk the soap flakes well to avoid soap residue. Safety: Be aware that soap flakes can make surfaces slippery, especially in the bathroom. Make sure to rinse off excess soap thoroughly. Wood treatment: Always test on a small area before treating old wood. Avoid using on veneer, as it can dissolve the glue. You can add a teaspoon of titanium white or some drain cleaner to the soap solution to brighten and care for your lye-treated wooden floors.

Other traditional uses
Soap flakes can also be used for laundry, foot baths, and wound cleaning.
